Meet The Team
Owner and Groomer - City and Guilds Level 3 Diploma (distinction) Natalie is also qualified in dog first aid and is a member of the British Dog Groomers Association.
Natalie has always had a love for animals. When she was young her parents owned Afghan hounds and it was these dogs that heightened her desire to work with animals.
Outside of school hours she would often look after and ride the horses that were kept in the field next to her house. This early obsession with horses led Natalie to her first job, at the age of 16, working with show horses.
Natalie spent the early part of her career studying for the British Horse Society stages 1,2&3. She completed her riding and road safety exam whilst working in the yard and went on to train young horses. She prepared show mares for various events up and down the country including the Horse of the Year Show.
In her spare time Natalie would clip horses into a variety of styles for the winter season and also provided a dog sitting service for dog owners whilst they were on holiday.
After seven years of working with horses, Natalie had a serious accident where she was trampled by six shire horses which resulted in the untimely end her career. She decided to transfer her skills to dog grooming and it wasn’t long before she had perfected all the breed standards and opened her first successful salon in 1995.
In the same year, Natalie purchased her first Doberman puppy and has since owned a total of five making her passionate about the breed. She has professionally shown two of her Dobermans qualifying for Crufts Dog Show five times.
Natalie takes huge pride in every aspect of her work and always takes her time to consistently perfect a great haircut on every dog that comes into the salon. Her high personal standard and attention to every detail ensure that each dog goes home looking their absolute best. Natalie’s calm and patient manner relaxes even the most nervous dog making their visit to the grooming centre an enjoyable experience.
